Turnkey REIs for Military People with Stuart Grazier

Turnkey REIs for Military People with Stuart Grazier

Could turnkey be the best real estate model for you? For Stuart Grazier, an active-duty Navy pilot, and owner of several turnkey properties in Milwaukee, it’s the way to go! He’s been helping fellow military men and women have their own cash flow-generating assets through the Storehouse 3:10 Ventures company that he co-owns with David Gutierrez.

The points below are from the tenth episode of the Real Estate JAM. There, Stuart Grazier talks about finding the time to do real estate investing, building your own turnkey company, finding the right property manager and team, and what Veterans REI Live is all about. If you think it’s right up your alley, you can listen to it on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts.

What is a Turnkey Property?

Turnkeys are a type of real estate asset that is move-in ready and does not need any additional improvements or repairs on the part of the investor. They could either be duplex units or single-family houses that are usually offered by companies (like Storehouse 3:10 Ventures) that understand their potential. Though these properties don’t really need repairs, a little rehab touch can definitely add to its value.

Stu thinks that going for turnkeys is an excellent option for those who are relatively new to real estate investing and do not have that much experience, time, or interest in doing the renovation or repair themselves. That’s why this model works well for active-duty military people. It’s a fantastic way to build your net worth and create passive income while you’re still serving in the military. That’s why we all got into real estate in the first place, right?

Earning Passive Income through Turnkey

With turnkey properties, you could immediately earn money to cover your investment cost while generating a steady passive income and cash flow. How? Well, picture it like this. If you buy a fully renovated house that you can rent out straightaway or a duplex with existing tenants and an established property management system in place, you’re pretty much in a position to reap the rewards when harvest time comes along! And this is just one of the reasons why many investors choose this route.

The turnkey approach also makes it possible for you to buy a property elsewhere and still have the capacity to run your business in the middle of nowhere! If you’re someone who’s often being thrown around into various parts of the country (or the world!), like military people or modern-day nomads, we can’t see why you wouldn’t want to consider choosing to do things this way!

Just remember, the key to a successful remote turnkey investment ensuring that a trusted property management company is in place. You’re pretty much entrusting thousands upon thousands of dollars’ worth of investments to these people, so you their reliability is an integral part to your success.
